ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Derrick Ellis is a seasoned touring stand-up comedian. He works concert halls and comedy clubs all over the country. He has been featured on BET’S Comic View for nine seasons as well as HBO’S Def Comedy Jam for one season. Also, Mr. Ellis has been featured in two motion picture entitled “Tears Of A Clown” and “Hollywood Vixens”. Derrick has three comedy DVDs and two recorded CDs out entitled “TALKING NOISE” and DERRICK ELLIS PRESENTS COMEDY AND MUSIC.

CLOTHING DESIGNER/ENTREPRENEUR: Derrick started a clothing line called FUNNY WEAR, it was established 2004. He later went on to start a Product Line where he sells novelty t-shirts, novelty coffee mugs, urban comedy dolls, and his own designed watches. Also, he has started an upscale line of clothing called FUNNY WEAR BLACK AND WHITE LINE. Also, Derrick has launched DERRICK ELLIS COMEDY AND COFFEE HOUSE where he features upcoming and veterans comics doing clean stand-up comedy in a coffee house setting as well as selling novelty coffee products.
